Ducta
ABOUT

Estimators sign what we output. We act like it.

Ducta is built in Dubai for GCC MEP subcontractors — by people who believe an estimating tool earns trust the way a senior QS does: by showing its working, disclosing its assumptions, and never claiming what it can't measure.

The estimating market is full of AI demos that count symbols confidently and wrongly. We started from the opposite end: what would it take for a working estimator to defend a Ducta number in front of a main contractor? The answer became the product — schedule reconciliation instead of blind detection, deterministic geometry instead of model guesses, a rate book the firm owns, and a build-up behind every line.

THE MANIFESTO

Rules the code enforces, not posters.

AI PROPOSESHumans confirm, the engine prices. No AI output is ever auto-committed to a number you sign.
NEVER FABRICATEThe model is hard-ruled against inventing an item, a size, or a price. Missing data is flagged, not guessed.
DETERMINISM FIRSTAI never gets the last word on a number — every output is validated against hard rules before it can reach your BOQ.
FAIL LOUDPartial runs carry a degraded flag. Skipped sheets are disclosed. An unmeasured metric is a fail, not a skip.
EVERYTHING REVERSIBLEFull undo in the editor, one-click undo on imports, append-only ledgers where history is the point.
UNPROVEN MEANS UNPROVENAccuracy is measured per trade on real drawing sets before we ship. Trades we haven't proven are labelled unproven — in the product and in this marketing.

See it on your own drawings — a 20-minute walkthrough, then a 14-day trial with no card.
